Description

Taco Cups are a fun and delicious combination of seasoned ground beef in crispy wonton wrappers, perfect for parties or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Sour cream (for serving)
  • Salsa (for serving)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning to the ground beef and mix well.
  4. Take the wonton wrappers and gently press them into the cups of a muffin tin.
  5. Fill each wonton wrapper with the seasoned ground beef and top with cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the wontons are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve with sour cream, salsa, and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

Quality ingredients matter – choose lean ground beef and fresh toppings. Customize with different cheeses or a vegetarian filling using black beans or lentils.
