Description
Delicious bite-sized sliders filled with savory black forest ham and creamy Havarti cheese, topped with a buttery mixture for a golden finish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package Savory Butter Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
- 12 slices black forest ham
- 6 slices Havarti cheese
- 4 tbsp salted butter
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1/4 tsp onion powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
Instructions
- Prepare rolls and baking dish. Slice the entire block of rolls in half without separating them. Remove the top half and set it aside. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased 9×12 baking pan.
- Add ham and cheese. Layer each roll with a slice of ham and a half slice of cheese.
- Prepare and add the buttery topping. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter for about 30 seconds until it’s fully melted. Stir in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce (if using), onion powder (if using), and poppy seeds. Brush this mixture over the top layer of rolls.
- Bake. Loosely cover the sliders with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the buns are golden brown.
Notes
For the best results, use high-quality black forest ham and creamy Havarti cheese. If using frozen rolls, ensure they are completely thawed and at room temperature before baking.
