Description

Flavor-packed salmon bites coated in a honey garlic sauce, air fried to perfection for a crispy outside and tender inside.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.25 to 1.5 pounds salmon fillet, skin removed if preferred
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice or rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha or red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon dry and cut into 1 to 1.5 inch cubes.
  2. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, oil, garlic, ginger, and sriracha in a bowl.
  3. Toss salmon gently with the sauce and let sit for 5 minutes while air fryer preheats to 400°F.
  4. Lightly oil the air fryer basket and arrange salmon in a single layer.
  5. Air fry for 6 minutes, shake or flip, then cook for an additional 2 to 4 minutes based on desired doneness.
  6. Drizzle with extra warmed honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 2 to 3 minutes at 350°F.
