- 8 oz feta cheese block, crumbled
- ½ block cream cheese (4 oz), softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- More basil leaves, chopped (for garnish)
- Red pepper flakes (to taste)
- Parmesan cheese, freshly grated (for garnish)
Instructions
- Wash the Roma tomatoes and dice them into small pieces.
- In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes with chopped basil, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt. Mix gently and let sit while preparing the cheese mixture.
- In another bowl, blend softened cream cheese, sour cream, crumbled feta, minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
- In a serving dish, layer the cheese mixture first, then top with the prepared bruschetta mix.
- Garnish with more chopped basil, red pepper flakes, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
For the freshest taste, prepare the bruschetta mix right before serving. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
