Description

A delightful twist on the classic Italian appetizer, this creamy and tangy Bruschetta Dip combines fresh tomatoes, basil, and soft cheese for a shareable treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or other soft cheese spread like Boursin)
  • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction
  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette

Instructions

  1. Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate or small platter, leaving about a 1/4 inch around the edge.
  2. Evenly sprinkle and spread the chopped tomatoes over the cheese layer.
  3. Sprinkle the fresh basil on top of the tomatoes.
  4. Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the whole plate.
  5. Serve with pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette. Enjoy!

Notes

Let the dip sit for about 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to mingle.
